following Lomachenko for years a special kind of fighter with an aura of invicibility around him still no guarantee for a succesfull pro career looking forward to his debut in 2013 curious to see if he will sign for a German or US based promotor
Yeah they were pretty pricey. Should be good seats though. In the afternoon session it's light flys, bantams, light welters, middles and heavys, which was £95. The evening session is the flys, lightweights, welters, light heavys and super heavys. That was £75.
He's been talking about going to the US. Can't wait to see him turn pro, like you say no guarantees he will adapt to the pros but if he can be will be a special fighter
Really looks to be a total athletic and technical package. You can see just from the way he trains that he is a physically gifted man. Looks like he could make it at gymnastics, rugby, decathlon etc. The fact he's also close to flawless technically makes him little short of a machine. The thing that stops him short is that he's a clever kid who looks at home in the ring.
That ****ing sucks. I read an interview with Usyk where he said the guys on the team who were going to go pro planned on signing with one promoter. If Usyk turns pro as a CW with a American promoter thats career suicide. Even Cunningham as a Title holder couldn't get on TV in the US. Pretty much the same thing if he were to go to HW too. For the rest of the guys even Lomachenko i can't think of any Ukrainian or Russian boxers who have ever gained a decent amount of popularity in the US.
He has a history of chronic hand problems. Several years ago he said the faith of this is in God's hands. There is nothing wrong with being religious but i hope he will look up the best doctors to solve this problem. Have never seen God curing a fighter's hands. Would be a shame to see his career cut short because of it.
Yeah I've heard him talk about turning pro in the US as well, he said that's where you make the most money for pro boxing.
Watched that the other day. He's a reckless driver and doesnt wear seatbelts, thats a good combination.
I posted a excerpt from that interview in the Euro lounge im assuming you read that? Anyways that was a couples years ago and he hasn't had problems lately.
