take a look at the top 20 guys on boxrec in his division. he has fought 1 of them. JMM 6 or 7 years ago...
heres another thing that helps...never, ever engage in a unification fight....
if you want to always be fighting the 8th best guy everytime at best when you defend your trinket belt. just the garbage WBA happens to have 3 champions most of the time in their own division...super champ, interim, regular. now add up the wbo, wbo interim, wbc, wbc interim, ibf , and you have up to 8 or 9 guys defending 126 pound crowns. do the math. if 8 champs fought 8 opponents, thats 16. someone is quite possibly fighting the 16th best guy when he defends his title. its a joke, john is just a pawn and seems all to happy to never fight another guy with a belt....

 

AND Jcc sr didn't fight cab drivers? The only elite opposition he faced he lost by a wide margin.
