I'm a fan of Rigondeaux but he is not even close to flawless. He has a low percentage style and only the one style. Lomachenko is far more versatile with far better defence. Rigondeaux has fought poor opposition as a pro, as an amateur he still got tagged plenty, I can count on one hand the amount of times I've seen Lomachenko tagged cleanly. Have a look at both Lomachenko's and Rigondeaux's olympic fights against Sultonov to get an indication of how they compare. Keep in mind that Sultonov was greener against the already gold medallist Rigondeaux at Athens, Lomachenko fought a bigger, stronger, more experienced Sultonov at Beijing and beat him 13-1 with a great knockdown in the final round. I have no doubt in my mind that Lomachenko is a better amateur than Rigondeaux was and will be a better pro.
