Ryan just popped round to mine and he's obviously really concerned about John-Jo. It's not how any fighter wants to win a fight. Thoughts to his family a friends

our thoughts go out to jonjo and his family, someone posted that the medics took ages, there was no oxygen, jonjo was in the ring for 15 minutes, CLEARLY whoever posted that is no medical man, both doctors where in the ring in an instant, then the medics, one with oxygen, jonjo was on the canvas for some time as we tried to stabilise him, if anyone knows what a bag and mask is then they will know jonjo was in big trouble, a second oxygen was also used to facilitate jonjos breathing, so yes jonjo was in the ring some time, but all for the good of the patient as we could not stabilise his breathing, both doctor and paramedic worked on jonjo whilst on the way to hospital having to stop to secure jonjos breathing, its no use rushing someone to hospital when they are not breathing when you have what the hospital has in your ambulance to get them breathing, please be assured that the BBBC would not allow any contest to begin without two doctors, two medics, and a fully equipped ambulance on standby, before any contest started, i placed two full oxygen cylinders ringside, all resus equipment is checked, and the ambulance placed at the nearest exit, everything that could be done for jonjo both in the ring and in the ambulance was carried out to the highest standards, he had two top doctors and two well experienced medics. come on jonjo get well.

There are actually plenty of bad (early) stoppages in boxing.

That people can get hurt doesn't change that.
