Is Andre Ward more or less getting a pass for disgracefully bringing Chad Dawson...

His division is lacking? The person he should have been calling out was Pascal. Since so many people want to believe Dawson was on his way to winning the fight, you figure he'd want to avenge that loss. I was shocked when he didn't even mention him to be honest.

Oh yes we will stay awake. Those that understand special attributes in boxing, movement, speed, natural skill and ring IQ will definitely be awake and appreciate. ******s like you can go to sleep and hopefully never wake up.

    Good post.
Johnson has lost more than he won at SMW, but was a top LHW when he steps up there

Should Ward win they could have a rematch for the light heavyweight title in Dawson's back yard. However it wouldn't shock me if the fight was a stinker and there was nobody that wanted to see one.

Dawson beat the guy who twice defeated Pascal. And a win over Ward > a won over Pascal. While there is still plenty of time for a rematch, if Dawson never fought Pascal again, he'd still go down the greater fighter.

I'm not shocked at all. Dawson clearly wants to make some money and fight big names, boxing is his life(source of money) and job. In a sport like this where age matters(he's 30), he needs to bank in some good fights, take those risks before it's too late.

It's very obvious and reasonable. Pascal is definitely a good fight but winning that one won't bring him as much attention and money as it would beating someone like Ward. Oh and losing to Pascal could pretty much kill his chances permanently.

I was just responding to Scar when he said the division was lacking, when there is a fighter right there who took your 0. Makes no sense not to want to avenge it.

My apologies for thinking you picked Bute .I take that back !

As far as resume Joe's hanging on by a thread but like I said a fight with a Prime Dawson will surpass Joe's ! Its easy to have longevity when its 10 yrs in between solid comp ! How long did it take him to fight Kessler after Eubank ? Ward has already fought Froch, Kesselr and will fight Chad in less time ! Hey I don't blame Joe though ,I mean you got F ****** feeding you stiff after stiff who wouldn't have accumlated all those defenses with that comp ! :D

Why would Dawson have to worry about Pascal when he beat Hopkins with ease ? Im sure he will get his oppurtunity at revenge after this fight but Pascal is tied up with Cloud for now ..A win over Hopkins holds more weight than a win over Pascal anyway ..

True, unless a more lucrative opportunity enters the fray. If Dawson wins, he'll have more options at 168 than 175. Plenty of chances a wins that make that close loss nothing but a memory. And if he loses, Pascal is still there waiting.
