Take the middleweight versions of these guys. I know most of them fought at other weight classes as well.

    James Toney
    Nigel Benn
    Chris Eubank
    Bernard Hopkins
    Roy Jones Jr
    Julian Jackson
    Gerald Mccellan
    Felix Sturm
    Michael Nunn
    Jermaine Taylor

How many does he win? I think he can beat Taylor and Sturm. During their prime years even.

    So 2 out of 10.

I think he gives Sturm a tough fight, but not sure if he beats either of those two you mention. My guess is, his best chance at a win over anyone on that list is Julian Jackson, and only due to hs shaky whiskers.

I was thinking about Jackson, but the thing is Jr leaves himself so open to punches from everyone. Jackson is one of the hardest p4p punches in the history of boxing. I don't know if Jr can just continue to get hit like that even for 2 rounds.

But I also think he will give Sturm a very tough fight.

I agree, I wouldn't be shocked if Hawk bombed out Jr. But man, the poor guy justy wasn't blessed in the chin dept. as he was in his fists.Win or lose vs. Martinez, I'd like to see Sturm vs. Jr as well.

I actually like Chavez Jr, but I don't think he'd beat any of those guys at their best. He'd beat the current versions of Sturm and Taylor, though.

I think he have a good chance to beat the Taylor that fought Hopkins.

Styles make Fights. That was just a bad style for Bernard.

I wonder if Jr would be able to get passed that jab of Taylor. He seemed to rely on his jab-right hand combination an awful lot. But it's something Jr has yet to deal with.

People giving alot of discredit to sturm.
Sturm is a very good boxer with very good fundamentals wouldnt surprise me if he schooled him.

:think:think Ya great point. Plus, Taylor had pretty good power as well. Not Julian Jackson style obviously, but he did floor Carl Froch.

After the first 5 Sr. would throw Omar into the ring to help out. Wouldn't matter though.

He loses to all of them, with his only chance coming against Sperm.
