    Interesting.

Do you think Lewis had a suspect chin? Does this hurt his H2H ranking?

To see how smart Ali was with regards to his career how about you read what those around him were telling him long before he retired.
Trainers and friends alike begged him to retire and witnessed the beginings of who he is today.
Or even better, JUST ****ING LOOK AT THE GUY!

This has **** all to do with Lewis clown, this is fact. He wasn't smart enough to quit when he should, you really want to debate that?:patsch:roll:

Why are you getting excited?

It has everything to do with Lewis, and everyone seemed to know it despite his not even being mentioned in the OP. That's what he did, and he wasn't suffering from early onset Parkinson's disease. Who even says Ali is in that type of state as it relates to the question?

    Bottom Line is this.

I know this have nothing to do with the question, BUT this is huge.

Wlad lost to Sanders blowing his shot at Lewis
Vitali lost to Byrd blowing his shot at Lewis

Lewis would not have ducked either guy in 2000 or 2003. They both blew their shots.

I'm pretty fair and un bias.

I managed to break down Lennox's wins

    Lennox Lewis
    Undisputed Champion
Only Modern HW to have retired with no unavenged defeats
Beat every man he ever faced.

    Some Notable Wins
Gary Mason- Huge under rated win for the young Lion.
Lennox only had 15 fights and he fought a undefeated champion in
Gary Mason. Lewis was a 15 fight novice and knocked Mason out.
Most 15 fight prospects these days are fighting Mall Cops

    Razer Ruddock
Took a semi prime Tyson to the deep end twice.
Tyson said 'Ruddock punch like a mule kick'. Ruddock was the most feared
puncher in the division and nobody outside of Tyson wanted him.
Ruddock dominated Phil Jackson and Gary Page prior to the Lewis bout and was considered a favorite. Lennox knocked him out in 2 rounds and effectively ruined Ruddock's Career.

    Frank Bruno
Lewis was behind on the cards, but like a true champion came back and knocked Bruno out.

    Dominated Tommy Morrison

Forced to fight in a tiny ring against Prime Ray Mercer, and couldn't move at all, but still clearly won the fight 7-3, according to most boxing experts.
Tough lil scrap, but Lewis prevailed.

    Andrew Golota
Golota was the original Klitscho, strong, big, tough, and just came off
back to back destruction beat downs of a semi prime Riddick Bowe.
Lewis was a big under dog. Golota was the 'next big thing'. Lewis knocked Golota out in 40 seconds.

    Shannon Briggs
Prime Briggs, Lewis slapped him around and knocked him out.
Vitali 10 years later, couldn't knock old man river Briggs out, and went the distance.

    Holyfield-
Dominated Holyfield. Won 10 Rounds to 2. Was robbed and the fight declared a draw.
Beat him again, in less stellar fashion the 2nd time.
Overall though Lewis won a total of 18/24 Rounds against Holyfield.

Holyfield had several 'prime stretches'. Against Lewis, he wasn't in his full prime but still elite.

Michael Grant-The next great hype. He was a 6'8 MONSTER, and HBO said he was the real deal. He was. He was big, he was strong, he was an athletic freak of nature. He carried all the hopes and futures of the American Heavyweight hope on his shoulders.
    Lennox almost broke his legs.
George Foreman even said 'WOW, WOW LENNOX DONE BROKE HIS LEGS'

    Grant was ruined.

David Tua- Massive Puncher, 2nd behind Tyson at the time. Surreal punching power. People said 'Tua's punches can kill you' and they could. Lewis toyed with him, winning 12-0. At the end, Lewis even made Tua hit the lamp post.

Mike Tyson- Ok ya, Mike was beyond shot, but he still had surreal one punch KO Power. In fact, I say Mike's one punch KO Power when he was older is STRONGER then when he was younger. Nevertheless, I admit Mike was shot, but Lennox was old too.

Vitali- Semi retired, old, fat,un motivated, and under trained Lennox Lewis lost the first 2 rounds to a Prime Vitali, but came back strong, ripped his face wide open, and had Vitali hanging on for dear life in the 6th after eating a old Lewis Upper cut (a prime Lewis would have followed that upper cut with a Roy Jones Jr like combo)

Doctor saved Vitali's career and life, ended the fight.
Tko6 of the '2nd best from the next era'

    Lennox had two losses.
    But realistically he had one.
He made the count for Mc Call. The ref was corrupt, even HBO said
the ref is corrupt. Lennox might have recovered, he might not have, but bottom line. He should have been given the chance.

    Rahman- Lewis was probably drugged.

It don't matter. In the rematches, he made Mc Call cry and killed Rahman with beautiful 1-2 combo.

Lennox avenged all his defeats. Like a true champion.

Lennox Lewis have 160+ Million Dollars and is living comfortably with zero signs of damage.

Vitali Klitscho is already slurring his English and is in serious danger of risking his life to prevent corruption against Ukrainian politicians.

Who knows what these Ukrainian assassins can or will do.

No. only a cherry picking, egotistical douche like Lennox Lewis would do that. Plus,it's only Vitali. Ali would have handled him easily.

My comment about Ali not being smart enough to quit was nothing to do with Lewis. Obviously the OP's comment is relating to Lewis but my answer which you quoted was not, it stands alone.

I might have picked you up wrong but are you saying Ali wasn't suffering from early onset Parkinsons at the tail end of his career?

No, we're way off on multiple fronts. The nuthugger comment wasn't even serious (this is all fun and games to me, I couldn't care less). Ali wouldnt have ducked a rematch because he didnt duck and was basically fearless. That does him a better service than saying he wasnt smart enough first imo. The reason I took it as if you were saying "and Lewis was" is because you went into specifics on what would and wouldnt of happened had Lewis fought certain Ali opposition albeit not the same post so you're right there. Ali was suffering from early onset Parkinson's but he doesn't necessarily need to be in that state in the hypothetical question.

For the bottom line, look at the post just above you to understand me better.
