he controlled the pace and had an answer for everything Calzaghe brought to the table. he arguably won the first 6 along with countless other rounds. lets not forget about the knock down in the first round too. you rarely saw Calzaghe even land clean. every time he threw a wild inaccurate flurry, Hopkins would tag him with a clean counter. this was a robbery.
When Bhop starts faking injuries thats when you know the other guy is winning. We saw it against Dawson, just like with calzaghe. SD-12

I'm not British and didn't particularly like Calzaghe, but I thought he won on activity. B-hop made the fight difficult, but he just didn't do enough.
It was only 12 rounds, I wouldn't really say thats countless.... If it helps, a case can be made that Hopkins should have been seen as the winner.
The only award BHOP won against Calzaghe that night was the Oscar's for best acting. Complete ownage!!!
