Great hook by katsidis.. I remember being scared for jmm after I saw that shot. Wonder what was a better shot, this one of the Garcia hook on khan?
Has to be Katsidis. He landed the punch flush where he wanted to. I doubt Garcia was looking to land a hook on Khans neck.
Difference is JMM has good recovery and good surviving skills while Khan has a glass chin and does not know how to survive but hop in n out like a bunny and instead of hugging or surviving instead chose to keep punching toe to toe.
I yelled out when that happened. Clearly that was one of those shots where your brain shuts down for a second; not an off-balance knock-over, but a straight up bomb to the mandible that made him pause and slowly tumble down. In the seconds that followed I told myself "Don't worry, it was half-expected, all part of the plan, we've been here before Juan, many times..."
That's something, because Katsidis vs Marquez some rounds that were up there with EM vs MAB 1 in terms of action, and is not as if Marquez hasn't been in as many wars as both of them, 2 vs Pac, 1 vs Diaz, 1 vs Barrera all just as great as any Barrera or Morales fights except the EM vs MAB 1 which is not too far ahead compared some of their classic battles.
