He's a Champion! So he should be fighting the best in his division like a real champion should instead of being treated like a baby.

If they didn't want him to face real comp they shouldn't of "belted" him and kept him a prospect. He's got plenty of skill and continues to improve, but as of now his comp is a joke.

No doubt that Canelo is very active. That can only be a good thing, but for the "better" of the Mexican fighters, his opposition has been god awful.

I like that he's fighting one more time this year, always good to be active. Alvarez should beat Lopez and be in fine shape for a Dec. bout but we saw what happened last time someone looked past Lopez.

I don't think its going to be Cotto-Alvarez in Dec., thats 2 1/2 months after Alvarez's next fight and usually promoters want more time to promote the really big ppvs.

I think the best case scenario for Dec is someone like Kirkland. He's suppose to be back in Oct and if his shoulder is fine then he could be the opponent. If not Kirkland than maybe Bundrage, Quintana, Trout, or one of the other usual suspects.
