There`s been no real stand out fighter that deserves to be called FOTD tbh.

If Morales or Barrera won their first world title in 2000 instead of 95-97 then they would have it sewn up easily but they were done midway thru the 2000s decade so that kinda rules them out... fmj & pac denied the fans the biggest fight of the era, completely unforgivable, that shameful act alone automatically rules those 2 out.... Jones, Hopkins & Calzaghe have too many ???s against them in one way or another.

I don`t know, put names in a hat & pick one out.

Manny was hyped by Arum like no other at the time he got FOTD...Manny lost to past prime Morales...losing to past prime Morales does not earn the top spot for FOTD. Boxing is corrupt and the decision to put him in this spot was corrupt.

Based on rankings, Floyd fights the higher ranked fighters too. Manny, throughout his career and more recently, has not fought the higher ranked fighters. That's only part of it, but fighting guys like Margarito and Clottey is horrible on Manny's part. As the pound for pound king your fighting #6 ranked fighters and unranked fighters..:rofl:rofl You have to go back to 2005 to see the last time Floyd fought an unranked fighter.:deal

That's the thing you were always talking about. Marquez fight, robbery, etc etc. That wasn't part of the decade. So it shouldn't count in regards to who was the fighter of the decade 2000-2010.
