This is according to Kieran Mulvaney podcast on ESPN.

Says what really pissed Escobedo off was Broner trying to get some grub after the weigh in.

Listen to the podcast its on the front boxing page on the leftside

Escobedo's brother was the one that didnt want the fight.
    Diaz said take the payday

At the last minute Al made a offer to Escobedo so he made $400,000

Kieran Mulvaney also talks about people searching for humility from Broner. Its not going to happen and people are going to tune in to love him or hate him Broner doesn't care as long as they tune in.

    Last fight at 130..

    Broner didn't care.

He should just move to 140.

This was shortly after shoving 36 twinkies and a hairbrush up his own arse. They must've canceled each other out.

ill give him a pass for missing it the first time but he clearly didnt try for the second weigh in. he's still a good fighter that im looking forward to watching again. some people need to get over it.

If he really did run for 90 minutes and then saunad after He mustve been around the high 130's the same day as the weigh in. Rediculous.

Escobedo had to dehydrate to get down to 130 while Broner fought as a lightweight. If it was going to be a lightweight fight then Escobedo shouldnt have had to dehydrate

I've done runs for over an hour and you can lose 5 pds easily if you do 90 mins even with a break inbetween

Im calling bull**** on the "news" about him running 90 mins + a sauna. A big struggle for fighters and athletes who are suppose to make weight in general is just that MAKING WEIGHT its difficult and requires discipline. Its rediculous that he didnt even try to make weight. Why even have weight limits then where they make you lose weight for even being 1/2 pd over??? It really was an unfair fight. Escobedo kept his mouth shut and didnt complain but it wasnt a fair fight
