let's talk Glass Jaws and Iron Chins in this thread. I have a feeling that those on here anointing the coddled Chavez Jr. as having a Chin are going to be mistaken. He has not shown or been tested against anyone. Fell free to discuss anything to do with Chins.
Not this thread again. Maybe wait 1-2 years? then you will have pages to talk about Think Canelo might get tested soon possibly against Lopez... but depends on what weight Lopez can manage to get up to on fight night
Morning Rico :hi: How do you feel about Linares' chin? One of top 10 worse in boxing today? I notice in threads he never gets a mention, Ronald Hearns as well. Both get bambi-legged on the regular.
For the chin checker's... Getting KO'd or KD by a power Puncher don't always constitute a "Glass jaw". Just sayin'
Linares was on mine and Zak's Glass Jawed top 10 months ago to me he isn't even worth talking about really. He was a Glass Jawed hypejob from day one and real Boxing fans already knew that. When Max Kellerman starts talking up a fighter I pretty much know that they are going to be a bust. :roflatsch
I have never seen any of the ChinCheckers say getting knocked down or out constitutes a Glass Jaw. That is a myth fabricated on here by the fanboys that get upset when their favorite fighter gets brutally and embarrassingly KOed by a feather fisted fighter. Fact.
They have underrated chins Acctually David Price and Tyson Fury have the capability to take over the Heavyweight divison of boxing when the Klitschkos retire
Didn't Fury get dropped by some bum from Canada and a fight in the stands broke out right after? :rofl atsch
Two different fights I believe, think alot of the crowd missed Fury floor Rogan because of a fight in the crowd, Fury got dropped by a the Canadian guy with 5 Ko's in 16 victories so not exactly a power puncher.
Only according to the Brits on here. And we all know how delusional they as a fanbase are. They thought Haye was going to take over the Division and that Hatton was fighting for the "p4p championship" against Mayweather and Pacquiao. :roflatsch
The Haye thing was more of a hope than actually thinking it, well among logical fans any way. People know the p4p championship don't exist right? I think he would have had a fair claim at being #1 had he done the near impossible and actually beat Mayweather, mainly because he went up to beat a guy head and shoulders above everyone else, but not the Pacquiao fight because he had recently(ish) lost to Mayweather. Every fan base has delusional people, not just Brits :good
