Why cant Lewis fans get over it? Lewis refused the rematch

    Yes but he was only ahead because he put everything into those rounds, knowing that if he didnt stop Lewis, he would be stopped on the terrible cut.

    He couldnt do it in 4 rounds and Lewis took over.


    I reckon that if there was a rematch it would be a cautious borefest, with Vitali conserving energy and protecting his face taking no risks - If Lewis had anything left he would win that type of fight - but I dont think he had anything left and after coming through such a war it was his prerogative to retire or carry on - he'd earned the right - such as Vitali feels he's earned the right to retire on a win over Charr...

    Enough of this ****. . BOTH LEWIS and MY FELLOW VITALI fans need to get over this ****.

    Vitali lost on cuts, so yes, TKO6! Lewis then promised a rematch, to clear everything up, and proved who really is the better boxer. . He never gave the rematch. . . So bitched out 4 life. .

    TKO6, and bitched out 4 life. . . We still never know who is truly better head to head.

    I'm not disagreeing with TKO6, I'm disagreeing with the rematch refusal. If Lewis is such a great HW and one of the greatest of all time, why would he refuse a match against what Vitali haters consider a "B+ fighter"?

    hey vladimir, in the interview with stewart on the main site, he is under absolutely no confusion that lewis was going to knock out vk if the fight had continued on. he even says that as vks current trainer.

    the question is, why should we listen to an obsessive wankstain like you over him?

    vk had his shot against the worst version of lewis possible, he wasnt good enough and it will define him and his career.

    iF Lewis rematched Vitali, Vitali wouldnt be where he is today, hed be in a nursing home still or walking around with a white stick. Vitali should think himself lucky. It wasnt a lucky punch it was accumulative pounding.

    Steward isn't Vitali's trainer so he is obviously biased towards Lewis. The fight was amazing for Vitali's career, because it showed that even Lewis can be outboxed (he never was before the fight) and that Vitali is greater. Lewis wishes every night that Kirk Johnson would have never gotten injured.
