Floyd wins, of course. But like Bogotazo has said, Mayorga's wild, unorthadox punches could pose some problems. He also hit hard, too. Not to mention he would have walked through Mayweather's pot shots pretty easily.

I'd be more interested in the pre-fight trash-talking, to be honest. He would have reduced Mayweather to tears.

The build up to it would've been the best pre-fight hype in history. What a shame Mayorga didn't beat De La Hoya. Then it might've happened. lol

That would have been epic. Give me Floyd on points. Mayorga was a looney at 147.

Floyd would never take that fight. He wouldn't fight Margarito, who was slower than Mayorga with less one shot power.

People seem to forget, or probably don't know, but Mayorga in 2003 was the real deal and in many eyes the undisputed welterweight champion. I know he "lost" to Spinks but that fight was poorly referred by someone who did not count a few knockdowns in favor of Mayorga when all Spinks did was run and fall in the ring on purpose to avoid getting caught. To this day, I still don't see how Spinks won that fight.

Now back to this fantasy fight, I thnk I'd favor Mayorga. His wild shots and always coming forward could prove too much for Floyd. One of those shots could land on Floyd and would be interesting how Floyd would take shots he wouldnt see coming from odd angles. Lets not forget how Floyd looked against Baldomir in a fight that he won as he was able to outbox Baldomir due to being too slow. Mayorga would still be slow in this fantasy match but a bit faster with way more pop.

Or Floyd would win in a boring fashing similar to his Baldomir fight. That seems the majority opinion in this poll.

Floyd doesnt like ugly fights. Mayorga is a wildman in there, and hes good at it. Those wild shots can go over floyds shoulder roll much like mosleys right or ortiz's right hooks
