looks razor sharp imo but cotto(or pedro) had a great game plan they would trow left hook right hand then mayweather would be wide open for the jab

mayweather only really got hit with jabs

he got countered trowing a uppercut 2 times

any thing else was just to mayweathers back

Don't need to watch Sean. Not about age because it's a weight issue.Very similar patterns to the Oscar fight.
He loses fluidity and fleet of foot at 154.

Mayweather has always been a little open to fighters with good jabs....Steward says its due to his stance.....

To me Floyd looked really sharp....he's still head and shoulders above the rest!

I do feel 154 may not be ideal for him though....147 seems perfect.

They could put Manny in one of those bodyfreeze things and let Floyd age naturally and bring them both back in ten years and Floyd would still win.
    Comfortably.
And it's not an anti-Manny thing, just a fact of life.

Cotto was able to rough Mayweather up at times but outside of that push jab which may give you a bloody nose but has very little pop he didnt land much. Averaged around 9 punches landed per round.

Cotto just used a beastly jab. The same jab that EVERY other fighter FMJ faces seems to abandon.

ODLH was doing well until... he abandoned his jab.

    Nice video. Thanks for posting.

I also thought he looked as sharp as he ever has been in the pocket. While his physical attributes are not at their peak, he just gets smarter and smarter.

I think Cotto was a tougher fighter than De La Hoya 5 years ago, but the fight was easier for Floyd to handle. Not sure when age is going to be a deciding factor in a fight for him. It hasn't happened yet.

Floyd is too planted and his weight is completely anchored on his back foot at times. Either he's losing his legs or is way too confident in his defense.

well u have to lean back for the shoulder roll to work so obviously he would have to but his weight on his back foot and cotto may not have 1 punch power but he is a big guy and had a big weight advantage so he is going to push floyd back

I thought Floyd looked Sharp in the Cotto fight, like Emmanuel Steward said "This is the best Mayweather has looked since his Diego corrales days"
