:yep , it made me realize that i 4got 2 include him in my top 10 in this thread , on d xpense of mcguigan whom went down 2 #11 as a result .

Y not include Pryor's trainer Panama Lewis as well ? U know just like Ali , Dundee there should b Pryor , Lewis . And Pryor is already in so what r d bums in Catanosta waiting 4 ?

    D <Ali,Dundee>~<Resto,Lewis>~<Pryor,Lewis> is a good "analogy" .

u made a complete **** of yourself by not understanding it , so i put another analogy 4u which is about as good .

    But u r weak in analogies , R u not ?

    Maybe I am.

But maybe I'm weaker in bothering to read gibberish written in adolescent text-speak, although I know I got your 'point" even though you seem to want to back away from it now.

i do not want 2 back away from any of my "points" (in this thread) .
<Resto,Lewis>~<Ali,Dundee> was and is a great analogy , which , just 4 your convenience i replaced by another , but that replacement was only meant 4 your and your likes' eyes .

Notice i did not delet it from my post despite i can edit it .
I did not do it because i thought and still think that it was and is a very good analogy .
Which u just do not get .
Only difference is that Ali & Dundee were enshrined whereas Resto & Lewis were not . That , and d sex appeal part .

BTW , understanding analogies is 1 of d main criteria that IQ tests R about .
And also n important ingredient in mathematics .

I don't get the Foster thing.

Sure, his competition wasn't superb, but he held the LHW title for 6 years. I don't see how someone could do that and not deserve to be in.

Also, those KO's of Tiger and Quarry were all time great moments.

He also had a fight of the year under his belt too.

There is no way you can be underserving and do that.

    Why?

He was a former HW champ and the first man to beat Joe Louis. :-(

Seriously, I've heard complaints about Johansson, McGuigan, Norton (he went 0-3 in world title fights), and a few others... hard to pick the 5 least deserving though.

As for Norton, yes he went just 0-3 in world title fights despite briefly holding the WBC HW belt but case can be made that he should have went 3-0 (or at least 2-1) vs. Ali (instead of 1-2) and that he should have gotten the win vs. Holmes (or at least a draw). Add to that the fact that he did beat Quarry KO5 and Young by decision (even though it was close) and his resume looks much better. Only Foreman beat him badly in his prime... he did the same to Frazier and he is a lock.

    i m
    His competition was **** . Saad Muhammad's opposition , when he was winning , wasn't superb .
    Bob Foster's opposition was **** .

    I don't care how much time a man holds a title in a deep **** division .
Ihetu was 40 years old and a former middleweight whom was never going 2b a real lightheavyweight and Mike Quarry was important because ?

I don't even how 2 comment on having FOTY in such a deep **** division . Is it a good thing ?

or did u mean 1 of his HW fights when he got KTFO
He was 1 man whom lost by stoppage like 6 times ? and by decision a few more and a few more draws and n (un)fair share of robbery decisions and who knows how many bs stoppages in his favor ?

and none of them were even against very good fighters .
It just shows u how much Louis sucked S 2 lose by KO 2 some1 like Schmelling .

what hurts Norton's legacy 4 me r not his robbery losses 2 Ali & Holmes , but his brutal stoppages by 4man and Jose Luis Garcia . I can even Xcuse his KO loss 2 Shavers , Norton was old by then .
i do think that Norton was good , but not HOF worthy . Norton was n Ernesto Shavers caliber of fighter , possibly less .
