Amir Khan vs Juan Marquez for 140 WBO title in talks..

Good fight, Marquez a skilled counter puncher but not sure he has the knockout hook Garcia wields, Khan cautiously out boxes JMM to a UD or late TKO. Sits on top of the 140 tree again. Great opportunity for a Garcia rematch afterwards to make an undisputed champion at 140. Vacate, Mayweather back on. Haters crawl back into wood work.

 

Marquez is far too skilled for Khan. He'd land at will and although he'd struggle at times with Khan's speed, his power shots would prove too much. Marquez UD in a fight where Khan gets badly rocked a couple of times.

 

Don't ever accuse Marquez of ducking Khan. You Khan fans are idiots

 

Khan cant win this, good shots put him on the canvas and wobblin for 2 rounds, imagine Marquez doesnt even need to land hard shots he can just land crisp counters and they will shake Khan down to his boots, Marquez UD or late stoppage

 

Don't deserve a Marquez fight... But props if it goes down.

lol khan will talk a load of **** before the fight claiming the garcia fight was a fluke and how mayweather dodging him and then proceed to get his ass handed to him by a 39 year old. He'll probably get his dad to cover for him in the post fight conference while he's back staged crying his eyes out.

 

I have to double check but I'm sure Khan has a significant reach advantage, as long as he uses it Khan wins this.

Anyway, Khan-JMM is a fight I always wanted to see. Khan is an exciting, all-action, come-forward guy with brilliant speed, combos, leaky defense and a glass jaw; JMM has a deteriorating chin (still good but declining), an excellent counterboxing style, some of the best timing in boxing, and will take a hit to give a hit, at times.

Khan ain't 5'10 though, I'm 5'10 and when I saw Khan in person at his fight against Malignaggi, I had at least a two inches height over him.
