Look, I personally penalize Holyfield heavily when considering fighters for p4p lists because of his obvious steroid use after the first Bowe fight. With that said, he's still the greatest CW ever and has clean HW victories over Foreman, Dokes, Stewart and Douglas...not to shabby.
Yeah but Holyfield was never proven to use Steroids. He was suspected like everyone else including Lewis. So unless you gave Holyfield steroids,you are just helping to spread rumors and unproven BS. Maybe younger fans don't realize this, but in his prime HW days, Holyfield wasn't really considered an elite fighter. He was massively respected, because his fitness & defensive technique were second to none, but no one really expected him to beat the top guys. He just didn't have the power. I guess his "star status" if he actually has any, must come from his later years, after he learned to beef up with PEDs and use head butts to good effect.
