Khan needs to avenge a loss first- it will be better for him mentally in the long run.

He just lost to a guy who depended on his counter punching to beat him, and now he wants to fight one of the top 3 counter punchers in boxing? Roach better quit underestimating Marquez, he has a bad track record against him.

Much as I'd like to see the fight that first reason is the reason Khan loses this fight.

We have all seen it in every fight where he faces adversity. If he gets hurt he starts swinging and trying to fight his way outta trouble.

To JMM that will be paydirt for the counterpuncher.

Only way Khan wins is to jab and run can he do it for the entire fight....

Khan will be the underdog in this fight so credit to him for wanting to take this fight.

I hope ppl give him props if he does manage to win and not come up with "JMM was shot" excuse

maybe HBO realise Khan is an exciting fighter and Marquez-Khan would be a great fight?

Risky move. He needs a couple of soft touches before being put in with the most experienced and skilled guy in the 140 division. JMM could end him for good.

So they're going to use a JMM robbery to revitalize Khan's career - the Pacquiao formula

Juanma is my favourite active fighter, but I've worried that at 140,there are less able fighters who could make the size count, and Khan is one of those that concerns me.Truth is,we haven't seen Marquez fight anyone of real consequence at 140 yet, because I don't count Manny.Marquez could be Manny's daddy at 175,so it's not a real indicator of how good Juanma is at 140.
If Khan is never going to learn to do what he does best and stick and move,Juanma will put him to sleep.Amir's heart is most likely going to always be his downfall, and he doesn't have the resistance to deal with Juanma's rights if they land.
But he could make it a very difficult night for Marquez,at least for six rounds if he stuck to his task, because Juanma doesn't like having to come after you.

Marquez had been ducking the **** out of Khan. . Guess now he thinks he sees a weakness that he can exploit?

I think Khan is just a bit too long, and too quick for Marquez. He won't let Marquez get in range to fire off his surgically placed punches. . .

Lol. JMM has one of the most beautiful uppercuts in boxing. If Maidana can easily land uppercuts on Khan...

A win won't do much for JMM's legacy. Garcia took the luster out of Khan. JMM should fight the winner of Garcia-Morales. Makes more sense.

Marquez would **** him up, let's be real. He's arguably top 3 best counter-punchers in the world. He'd adjust to Khan's speed and do what Garcia did to Khan. Amir's only chance is playing it real safe and boxing from long range perfectly for 12 rounds. I don't see him doing that.
