Yeah, sure, I need to be an American to know black guys like Berto, Broner, Mayweather, Judah, etc, had got unfair cracks of whip :nut.
i am not saying that idiot. im talking about promotional companies such as GBP and Top Rank being more latino orientated, which Arum just admitted. im not saying that they dont give any black fighters a shot, but they definately dont put as much time and effort in promoting most of them for the fact the african american boxing fan base isnt that big anymore. ever wonder why berto, paul williams, bradley, peterson, alexander, and others cant fill arenas outside of their hometowns? its a lost in interst for boxing in the black communities. an urban icon such as 50 is a good tool to reach out to the african american public to get them more involved with the sport. that is all and its the truth.
Now that I am in full agreement with. Everyone knows the African-American fanbase in boxing is currently dire. But that's a little different from what you appeared to be saying here... ...which gave off the impression that black fighters, above everyone else, are being unfairly treated by promoters. But that's not fully the case. As you say, the main problem is their target market - African Americans - not giving a **** about them. Promoters won't care what colour you are if you can make them money. Ask Broner, Mayweather, and Judah.
Arum didnt have much of a choice to say what he did, hes not guna come out and say '**** tmt il burn them to the ground' it annoys me with people saying black fighters havent been able to make the same kind of money when floyd mayweather is the highest paid sports star in the world
Lmaoo, no way in hell can Floyd UD Haye, even successfully defended punches will knock him off balance and send him flying. And please of please stop using hash tags, we aren't a community of teenage girls, this isn't twitter.
