I wouldn't exactly call it prime, but if everybody would pull the fuggin' blinders off, it was basically Lewis' best win of his career, and he didn't look great early in the fight because Vitali is a tough son of a *****, but he found a way to win. Both of them deserve a shitload of respect for that fight.

If I ran this forum I would ban Vitali-Lewis threads and the term "TKO6"

Everything that could be discussed on the issue has been.

This isn't the first time Lennox has contradicted himself and you know it.He's also been widely quoted as saying people should think what he'd be like against Vitali at his best.
And only one guy left the arena bleeding like a pig on Warferin that night, beaten and humiliated.
And we all know it wasn't the Champion.

The doctors robbed Lewis of his 'greatest' win.

If they let the fight continue, Lennox would have knocked Vitali the **** out.

As things stand, the Ruddock Win, the Holyfield Win, and the Tua domination was better.

And if you're asking if that was prime Lennox, you obviously don't know an uppercut from a Winky twin.
Bit like those who say Tyson was his best win.

    What's the point of this.

If you really wanna 'believe' in all quotes.

    Here's two for you.

    Scene it

-Wladimir on Lennox Lewis before Haye Fight

'LENNOX LEWIS IS MY IDOL, I try to fight like him and will use his techniques against David Haye"

Vitali on Lennox Lewis before Solis fight

Lennox was the STRONGEST OLD CHAMPION I EVER FOUGHT

    OLD

    OLD

    OLD

I will do something I have never done before:

I believe Lennox Lewis in this case. He was in his prime.

Lewis who was coming off his greatest career win over Mike Tyson got sent into early retirement by an injured, one-eyed, robot who quit against Chry Byrd.

    Too many Lewis threads.

A good one will be what WOULD HAVE HAPPENED if the fight wasn't stopped.

The truth is, the doctors robbed Lewis of an knock out. Lewis never complained.

Vitali was probably gonna get knocked out by Round 7-9. that's assuming he don't quit again.
