I think all the media attention and crowd got to Joshua and he might have been under par due to that, but Savon was a very clear winner there.

He wont more likely Ommarov.....Dychko is in/out boxer but he will outbox him.

Just wish people would not go to extremes with big Josh, his chin is good and is very strong but is not as good a boxer as the guys i mention.

    Exactly, what is the point?

if Savon is not a winner boxing like that then it's clear you have to KO Joshua and the others to to get a result.

This is why I don't like judging in Olympic events, too easy to corrupt.

I can't quite believe they gave Joshua that fight. Oh dear.

Still, we need a lot of robberies to catch up with all the times other ****ing judges have robbed our fighters.

Joshua is still young and will improve in time. There's no need for a knee jerk reaction, even though I agree he should have lost the fight. He was just too stiff early on and Savon had few issues landing big shots.

The referee didn't seem in that much of a hurry to seperate Joshua from clinching in the last 30 seconds of the 3rd round after he took a big shot. Maybe 20 seconds+

I wanted Joshua to do well - but can't see him getting gold based on that.
Yer, he seemed to take the big shots well.

Although extremely generous scoring for Joshua to say the least.
Of course--

The problem is that Big Josh can easily hang for 3 rounds with Dychko and just about make it to the end with Ommarov...and will get the wins unless they decimate him.

Even though he will be outboxed, Joshua will be the chinese chap though he is better than him and he did beat Majidov who got a home decion in the worlds-

But better than Savon, Dyhko, Ommarov and Hrgovic....NEVER.

Can't see Joshua failing to take a medal at least. He's destined to win gold with the judges behind him IMO. As long as he make it through all three rounds, he should pick up gold.

Exactly he's ****ed. There's no plan B for this chap as Joshua goes on to make his millions.
