Joshua is in his early 20s, he's had a very limited amateur career, he hasn't boxed for long and his style is more suited to the pro game.

Josh has a style that could go well in the pro's but I think the hype and the hometown pressure has now hurt his image a bit, the comparissons to Lewis were way premature, I just hope he doesn't become an Audley Harrison lol, but tonight that Cuban completely outclassed him, **** result though.

Don't forget this is am's guys, nothing matters other than effective punches in the scoring zone. So footwork, speed, style all irelevent to scores.

Joshua been boxing 4 years, Savon was born to it.

On that basis, Josha did well. He needs to stay am for a while tho, he doesn't look anything special right now. I also had him losing the fight by like 3-4 points.

Anthony Joshua still might be the next Lennox Lewis, big deal.

But he will never be the second coming of Wladimir Klitschko with his undefeated hw title reign.:deal

Evidence? Don't know him personally but I'm only aware of him fighting since 2008 with everyone saying he started at 18.

He couldn't have won the senior novice title if he'd had extensive amateur experience, even at a younger age.

Junior record is wiped when you turn senior. He did an interview with an Asian guy in his car on youtube about 20mins long. Said it then. Its not big news just don't believe everything you hear on TV.

this sort of **** really pisses me off.

Savon boxed the socks off Joshua, aside from a quieter third round, which he still finished strong.

Also, goes to show how stupid the Olympic preliminary system is, one loss and you go back home.....

that must feel **** for Savon, as being Cuban he practically lives for this tournament....probably had to leave his starving family, with literally no funding.....gets here, kicks ass, and gets robbed, and returns to his day job back in Cuba for another 4 years....

on the other hand, if he would have won, he would have probably have had a phone call in September from Team Joshua, asking for an exhibition amateur fight in london.....which he obviously wouldnt be able to turn down *cough cough....

    **** the olympics. bull****
