    100% AGREE. WIth this post.

    Except you forgot one thing.

If that was Pro, Joshua get ko in the third

but SAVON GET KO in the 2nd..... Joshua landed a KO Punch in the 2nd.
The Headgear stopped it. So yes, in the third Savon would have floorered Joshua without the headgear, but he won't have made it to the third anyways,

Regardless Savon won. Too bad Cuba can't host the Olympics

    Guys so negative here.

At least I found it positive Joshua was not brutally knocked out there.

Ok he might not be the next Lennox Lewis.

But he still can be the next Razer Ruddock

and that's enough to clean out a Post K2 Division

Ok ******. You saying a Prime Ruddock can't clean out a HW Division that don't have the K2?

He landed 1 big punch in the 2nd but a KO punch gtfo:patsch

The Cuban was fine and would likely have been fine head guard or not. Not every big punch ends in ktfo. Joshua was actually staggered, the Cuban was fine.

This is ridiculous I was looking forward to seeing Joshua but this guy was outboxed and made to look foolish by the Cuban. Talk about gift.

It was hardly Roy Jones or the Brinks Mat but it was still pretty **** for Savon.
Who from the UK honestly felt Joshua was a gold prospect before the tourney? Come on,if the selectors saw a young guy stealing an old woman's purse and making a superswift getaway five years ago, they'd have kidnapped him and trained him up for the 100metres.
It's the very definition of hype right now and the kids won't get half the funding or attention for Rio.

You do know that the headgear doesn't make a difference other than stopping cuts? The headgear is gone from next year in amateur boxing anyway, I guess that'll help to end the misconception that headgear does anything.

I disagree that it was a robbery. I feel he won fair and square. Just opinion, but MAN his feet are slow.

Lol as the earlier post said, didn't Audley Harrison teach the UK to wait and see how they do? I would like to see Josh as a good pro but honestly comparing him to Tyson is getting silly.
