I think the whole occasion got to Joshua tbh. He went to the world's without much expectation & very nearly won.

Infront of a noisy home crowd he lost his head & didnt box like he usually does. He was too aggressive & reckless, Ive never seen him look so flat footed & raw.

The Cuban was magnificent, a beautiful performance to watch & he shouldve won by a comfortable margin. After a close 1st round he was fantastic, such a shame we wont get to see him again in this Olympics.

The Japanese guy Satoshi Shimizu's appeal was successful & he's through to the next round, does anyone know if the Cuban's will appeal?

Audley Harrison looked a lot more skilled in 2000 than Joshua does right now

I agree. Except he had one fight. Lennox Lewis took TWO Olympics to win Gold.

Joshua was robbed in the World Finals last year. This was definitely the worst he ever looked, the nerves and stress and 10,000 screaming fans got to him.

It happens to everyone. Give him time to settle in. I think he'll perform brilliantly in the next 3 fights.

    we'll see.

I also thought he did enough to win the worlds last year. He's very raw and has a shitload of things to work on. He seemed very very slow, but that could be because of how fast and slick savon looked.

We'll know more about Joshua after his next fight

seriously you come into this thread, don't make a single contribution, except when you see a comment regarding K2. Do you just stalk every thread for Klit-related comments? That was literally the only post in this entire thread that mentioned them. And you're on it like a rash

Give him another chance. The biggest issue with British fans is that they are too eager to hype, but even more eager to criticize.
