Dela Hoya became a two weight champ in his fourteenth pro fight. Not sure if thats a record but it is quite impressive.

i could see them breaking that one with some talented mexican fighter, but it will be against a cherry picked belt holder, and it will be done for maketability. Then the mexican will spen the next 4 years chrrypicking fights.

Valero had 18 which was a record until Tyrone Brunson 'beat' it with 19. I say 'beat' because what he did was an absolute joke; basically fighting a bunch of debutants, over the hill old men and straight out bums. As soon as he stepped up to fight someone with even the faintest pulse he was shown up.

Just shows how rubbish KO records like that are in the first place, as anyone can do what Brunson did and fight a bunch of stiffs time after time...

 

Would love to know how he would of fared when stepping up in opposition. Him v Pacquiao could of been the most explosive fight of the decade

Also no. of knockdowns in a fight (51) looks unbeatable. It happened in 1902 between Battling Nelson (down 9 times) and Christy Martin who was downed 42 times before the KO in round 17.
