Oner wanted him out, he didn't like how Top Rank were handleing him and thought that King would do a better job.

Which is kind of true since he gets most of his Heavyweights title shots.

I think that Solis now back in Germany will definitely shed at least 10 or 15 pounds. Because the USA is loaded with temptations and Cubans, ( not as many in Germany ), so I really think that we may see a new and improved in better shape Solis when he fights Austin.

If Solis comes in at around 250 to 255lbs he will be a tremendous force, as when he was fighting a year ago. MARK MY WORDS, Solis is a tremendous boxer, there is no other HV today with so much amateur accomplishments, skills, chin and natural talent. Heck, Solis even defeated Felix Savon TWICE and Haye.

Maybe signing with King will actually help his career because King was very interested in him since he defected but since his weight skyrocketed, King backed down. I have a very good feeling that Solis will shed 15 pounds and become the HV fighter that he was intended to be. I can't wait to see him in the 250, 255lbs range!!! :good

Well that virtually guarantees he won't be fighting either Klitschko since Don King will price him out as if he's some great attraction. :-( Just see Valuev for evidence.

right now Solis is #2 WBC and Austin is #1 WBC. King promotes both. Vitali is retiring at year's end.

    you do the math.

get ready for solis vs. chapman, mollo, golota, and any other hwts king happens to control.

    here we go again,

Well, I am not really sure if Vitaly will retire anytime soon. As long as he keeps on winning easily like he has been doing, he may well keep on boxing for a couple of more years. All that Solis needs to do is first concentrate on his physical conditioning, ( losing 15 to 20 pounds ) and then let King manage his career.

I have a very big feeling that Solis will be HV Champion very soon. A fight with Haye would be fascinating but I think that Solis beats him up again. Solis may very well be the next HV Champion as Vitaly is on the verge of retirement ( or at least that's what he says ) and Wlad is almost 37 years old...Besides the K brothers, there's no one out there that will stop " La Sombra ". :good

I thought Wlad was only 34. Vitali is 38 I believe.

Actually my mistake, Wlad will be 35 in March and Vitaly just turned 39 in July. Wlad is still kinda young but Vitaly is almost 40 but is very strong for a 39 year old ! :good

the time for Solis to make his move is now, especially at 30 years old.
Drop 15 lbs and fight Austin to get the mandatory position in the WBC

and fight for the WBC title by middle of next year

? DK got him the fight with Vitali. King and Oner fought way harder at the wbc convention to enforce his mandatory spot than Solis did in the ring

Expect Don King to fix a WBA mandatory status for Solis very soon.
