Maybe so, but against the Cuban he looked average and heavy footed as he was clearly outboxed. I don't like to use the term robbery when a fight is close and could of gone either way, but that was not the case here. Savon clearly won and was robbed of his victory.

Agreed. He's just a big slow, stiff up right, European robot.

The interview is linked below. He doesn't say that at all. He started boxing when he was 18. He has progressed amazingly well in a short period. Just think who has achieved a silver medal at the worlds for Britain to see why the hype started. From memory we are talking about Carl Froch and David Haye with Silver and Frankie Gavin with Gold.

There was a mongonlian fighter who will be champion if he goes pro. Fights like Mayweather and Hamed hybrid. U.Munkh-Erdene is his name.

I agree. Savón landed the cleaner and better punches. Savón dazzed Joshua in the final seconds of the third round and almost had him KO'd but Savón is not a big puncher. Savón is miles away from his Cousin, the Cuban beast Felix Savón.

Joshua must be very happy now with that " GIFT " decision, heck if I was him I would come forward and admit that I lost! If he does that he would be more appreciated by the public, but no he won't do that. ;)

Nice way to say it my brother. We Cubans are used to getting " the knife " at the Olympics, could it be a case of " they win too much, stick it to them " ???

    Blessings to you!

Maybe one day the Olympic could be held in Cuba and the Cubans can be on the other end of the "gifts" that host countries usually get. But the Olympics in Cuba? very highly unlikely for obvious political reasons.

My trainer at college knows him. Said he had a few as a junior then went into basket ball or something like that for few years then came back into boxing at 18. He's only had 40 odd bouts I think, so he is a bit inexpienced.

Cubans don't need gifts when it comes to boxing and that's because they usually win their bouts and if they lose they accept it and move on . Not the Brits I'm afraid , they love cheating at sports and if they have home advantage
( World cup 66 ) the better . That's why they haven't won another World Cup in more than 45 years ( and never will unless they stage it on home soil of course ) . I have the impression that these are going to be the last Olympics staged on " Great " Britain for at least 1000 years and other important sports tournaments as well . People get tired with cheating . Let nobody fools you when they talk about the so called " British liking for fair play " . It's a joke like these Olympics were .

please expand on how we cheated in the 66 world cup. And please go on more about "cheating" in these olympics.
