It's pissing me off that some of them are taking this as a little local tournament, not the OLYMPICS!! It's like they don't want to win Gold. There's Antony Joshua acting like a mummy last night, his shots were slow and obvious, and he refused to use the jab. He got outboxed and yet got the gifted decision, and Ogogo just hasn't lived up the hype at all. All the hype about these fighters, yet they go in and fight like it's a local tournament. The don't fight like it's the olympics at all. You would think they just wanted to make up the numbers, not win a gold (or any) medal. If I went into the Olympics, I'd want to train hard and fight hard, not just turn up.
can't remember any hype around Ogogo for these olympics to be honest, all eyes have been on Campbell, Joshua and Selby i think? Fought his heart out for 3 rounds at that pace is unreal. People don't realise most the shots were hitting off his gloves, including the 2nd standing count.
ogogo only qualified at the last minute and has never been hyped as one of GB's top medal prospects. look out for andrew selby in the flyweights.
