You should watch Murata's fight in the finals in Baku last year, him and Khitrov spent the whole three rounds trading blows at short range, kinda like Rios - Antillon.

I saw that fight and loved him then, sadly he was just fighting a stronger guy. He must now be nailed on for Gold.

he does it with the pro game as well. some irish kid was getting outboxed by an alright hungarian so he went to the war to his liver. battering him. woodhall saying "good round for him but he should go on the back foot and let the guy come on to him and throw the 1-2"atsch

it's a bit of stolkholm syndrome. good amatuers look to fight only like good amatuers. limiting their trade.

defintly. strange to see a fighter that big and in a division where power can derail anybody who fights that openly. just swarm and keep throwing.

that lithuanian guy at lightweight is also great fun to watch. both of them have a fun pro career ahead of them that i think will cash out more than most of the medalists.

 

He lost to Cuba's Alvarez.

 

I actually know him well. He will never turn pro.
