Andre Ward will be P4P number 1. I have been saying this for years.

Khan. . . 3 years from now. . when the dark knight within him rises. . .

Honorable mentions: Broner, Gamboa, Rigo, Ward, Lomachenko (well, stilL WAY too early for this prediction, but he's the best ammy since Rigo. . Very close to Rigo in terms of skill).

    Ward

Donaire- although Mayweather and Pacquiao would both need to retire and/or lose pretty soon

Dawson has the opportunity. A win over Ward going down in weight and holding two undisputed lineal titles would vault him to, even on his worst enemies' list, no lower than 4th.

Alvarez- careful promotion and, slowly but surely, he is and will continue to up his competition and compile so many names that it will be undeniable. An emphasis on careful promotion.

Middleweights: Chavez Jr, Golovkin, Geale- I see a return to glory days for the MW division coming soon. Chavez gets a mention because like Alvarez, he will be given great opportunity that most others won't, beginning with the upcoming Sergio fight. Because of this and the already scheduled fights in September on HBO, I see Golovkin as having potential and Geale as having both potential to reaching high on the P4P list. I just realized this thread is for P4P #1 and no way would I ever pick Golovkin or Geale for that, but I suppose they both would be higher on the list than many.

Bradley- believe it or not he has a very, very good chance considering how little of a chance anyone really has. He is still undefeated and theoretically will get a chance to beat P4P #2 Pac in a rematch, which would make him P4P #2, very close to #1. Might sound silly, but I'd give him as good a chance as anyone other than Ward, Donaire, and maybe Dawson.

Calling anyone who is very young and unestablished is just too difficult at this point. My list is for who will be taking over immediately after May and Pac are not, not saying they will dominate as such or even defend their P4P kingship once...

if they let him fight mares and donaire, than it will be rigo. more realisticly is ward, since he is the favourite to win against dawson, a rematch with froch or a showdown with direll.
