Boring is an opinion. You just don't like technically smart fighters. That's just the kind of fan you are. Hell I've seen fights between two sluggers that can't hit ****, and that's boring as hell.

 

You have to be a fan of the sweet science to fully appreciate Ward. He doesn't seem to be able to crack and egg, and even his hardest looking punches lack concussiveness when viewed on replay.

 

he's not the most exciting fighter but he's a winner. of course if he were british and white, most on these boards would be claiming him as one of the greatest pound for pound fighters ever.

I'm not sure if he's boring, he's just so clinical and hasn't been tested or put into a war. Not really his fault. Not sure if there is anyone who can make him go to the trenches. Hoped Froch might , but he's to good.

 

John Dr.love Ruiz with his non stop clinching was the most boring champion without a doubt.

Ward is boring though but he's no more boring than Calzaghe, older B-Hop, Ruiz etc.... plus it's interesting to watch his ring smarts at work, he's a tricky slick mofo and I respect that even though I ain't a fan.

Everytime Nathan came on Boxnation before the Haye Chisora fight my friends and I almost fell into a coma. Cleverly oozes boredom.

he's a great fighter. he puts on his best performances when he needs to. his wins over Kessler and Froch were boxing masterpieces and kept me entertained. he's a blessing to watch.
