If you know how to score a fight in the amateurs, you know that it was a fair decision. It was close, could've gone either way - the scoring reflected that.

Make no mistake about it, but I know fairly well how to score a fight in the amateurs. My view isn't biased just because I cheer on one guy. But yes, I can see that can be a bit hard to understand.

I believe an American Supreme court nominee used that very argument. I'm not impressed.

Being a cheerleader for someone is antithetical to offering an unbiased view of an complex event.

On the other hand I thought Gausha looked very impressive today. Much better than his first fight in the Olympics. But you don't score points by simply looking impressive.

Gausha was in a close fight, but he deserved the decision. The judges are freaking corrupt and blind! The USA coaches need to have their fighters in better condition. The other countries fighters are fresh in the last round, but our guys are dragging besides Ramirez, Gausha and the little guy, can't recall his name. Olympic judging and scoring is horrendous! A damn Joke! Someone needs to have those guys arrested and shackled for the crimes they are committing against hard working young athletes that deserve better. Damn shame, but our USA fighters should be proud of their efforts. Ramirez was highly touted, but he will make a super pro.

That's such a bull**** answer.. you don't know how to score amateur fights.. the ****ing judges don't even know how to score amateur fights.

I can't watch this **** anymore. Not sure how guys can land double digits shots and then show something like 3 points in a round.. it's bull****.. and the sport is ruined by it.

Guasha should go pro and skip this bull****... it's sad that the amateur ranks of boxing is more corrupt than the pro ranks.

real fricken talk. I rarely ever watch amateur boxing and I was excited for these Olympics. But I don't think I'll be watching this bull**** again until they do away with the headgear

The pro Indian crowd swayed it...no way he was 1 point down after the first.

I thought he got the better of the 2nd aswell...not by much but he should have had a few points up his sleeve coming into the last..Which was pretty even but it seemed like if anyone had the upper hand it was Gausha.

Not the worst one so far but wrong man got it IMO.

I missed the last round but the Romanian sounded like he was dudded in the bout previous to this one...he looked like he was doing it easy in the 2nd...I was surprised when I came back and he didn't get the win..the commentators thought he was jobbed.

It was close, could have gone either way. Teddy Atlas going nuts, as usual, and calling everyone corrupt did not help in watching it. Atlas is ruining the fights with his ranting, every second. He is either second guessing every fighters corner, and their strategy.
He also keeps yelling 'We must stop the corruption! Someone has to stop the corruption!!" He yell is out during every bout. I guess he figures doing that for all these years on FNF did not get him national commission job he wanted, maybe he figure he can be new Olympic czar? He is at his worst.

Gausha can be good pro, but I think he stayed amateur a bit too long, a growing trend.

I agree that it's bull****, but that's just the way it works right now. If you don't understand that, it's obvious that you don't know how to score an amateur fight.

Well, they will switch to a 10 point must-system next year.
