I'll go with Robinson by decision. I don't see a fight between Robinson and Mayweather ending in any other way than a decision no matter how many rounds it goes. I also don't think that there will be any diffrance in the margan of victory. No matter who wins.

Robinson should control the outside. This is where he's at his best. Clasic boxing circle and jab. He won't frusrate Mayweather, but he'll win rounds. A victory for Robinson is not a sure thing. Mayweather is as crafty as they come. The other problem is that Robinson can be his own worst enemy. He tends to mix it up when it's not in his best intrest.
I will assume that Robinson fights a smart fight. I think Robinson wins 9-6 give or take a round.

ripcity, why wouldn't it be in Robinson's interest to mix it up at 147 with Floyd Mayweather Jr, who only boasts a stoppage vs Hatton and Victor Ortiz at the weight, one through a sucker punch.

It's not about Mayweather's power on the inside. I beleive no matter who wins this is going to the cards. It's about the fact that it isn't in Robinson's intrest to mix things up. Coming at Mayweather and letting him slip in to the pocket alows him to do what he dose best. That's counter punch. There's not a lot to chose between the two in the skills/ability/talent department. I do think Robinson is better though, but not better enough that he can fight anyway and win no matter what. Robinson needs to stay on the outside. He neeeds toset the pace. He neeeds to make Mayweather come to him so he can pick him off coming in.

Robinson is on a different level to fmj, he has the best & most varied offensive arsenal in the history of the sport, Ray would win decisively, probably by KO.

Well **** like thats gonna happen when the thread starter doesn`t take the time to tick the box that says `make poll public`

Now they can vote for fmj & don`t need to explain their stupidity :-(

I`ve said it for a while, all polls should be public viewing, there is no reason whatsoever for a poll to be private other than the reason I`ve just given.

SRR would humiliate Floyd. Outbox him, out work him, and overpower him.

Based on what exactly ?.... Hearns being ahead on the cards vs Leonard before being stopped when Leonard made it a firefight ?... Robinson hit harder than Leonard with either hand & was a superior fighter in a firefight.

Robinson would knock Hearns out & both would knock mayweather out.

    Floyd said ......

Floyd wouldn't have wanted to fight Robinson. You think its been tough trying to get the Pacquiao fight on? The Robinson fight would just never happen.
