Well let's see how Donaire, Pavlik, Rios etc progress.

    "Robert Garcia is overrated"

Ok, explain why he is overrated then, let's not just make statements with nothing to back them up.

He has Brandon Rios a fighter according to most of you that completely sucks yet is a world champ.

Then he has his little brother Mikey who has looked spectacular in his career, showing patience, power and great counter punching.

He has Nonito Donaire who has gone up in weight and done so very well. Not losing speed or power.

If you look at Kelly Pavlik, he has a left hand now. Scoring a knock out with the left hand and seems to go to the body much more, definitely a Garcia family trait.

He also has a lot of young fighters in his gym and I think the biggest mistake Victor Ortiz made was leaving Robert for his brother Danny.

Robert Garcia is far from overrated, he's done a lot with what many thought was nothing and he has more young fighters to come out of that camp. Oxnard has become a hot bed of young talent.

You've just listed his accomplishments, I'm well aware of those. I never said he wasn't a good trainer, he certainly is. But it doesn't have any bearing on whether he is 'overrated' or not. I believe he is, purely because some say he is the best trainer around today without competition, I disagree with that.

Rios is good but isn't improving like he should

Mikey Garcia is guided by big G - who is experienced trainer and an excellent one.

Nonito Donaire is naturally very gifted, very athletic

Pavlik went from loew to garcia, that guy was terrible, you can't help but improve on some aspects when you go from a bum of a trainer to a world class trainer.

By saying he is overrated doesn't necassarily mean he is not that good, for example one might think he is top 5 trainer, but not in the top 3 like many think, therefore making him overrated.

    Very overrated.

Hopefully, Donaire and Garcia get into a beef and Nonito goes to Freddie Roach and Ariza..

Rios is a former champ then but didn't lose it in a fight, he lost in on the scales because he's grown out of 126.

Who said without competition? Now your just making stuff up. I'm saying he definitely deserves trainer of the year. Are there other good trainers out there? Of course but it's not like they gave trainer of the year to me or something, they gave it to a very accomplished guy who's been killin it this year.

I know perfectly well what "overrated" means and Rios is a much different fighter than he was.

Who do you think taught Robert Garcia everything he knows? Big G

So what that Donaire is athletic, that disqualifies Robert?

Pavlik was a world champ, he must have been doing something right.
