    1. In haye fight he was fine. His legs were fine. Right after the clinch he started pressuring haye again. The fact that wlad clinched doesn't mean he was in trouble.
    2. He was done in brewster fight well before any punches landed. And yet brewster could not put him to the ground. He was gassed not punched. The fact that wlad gassed so quickly and that he was unable to respond was the main reason people suspected drugging.

Wlad was fine in the fight against Haye and Haye is a very hard and good puncher.

Against Brewster I Wlad was poisened, he was tired after round 2.

    Wlad was never knocked out.

Honestly it is very hard to rate him in some departments because of his size.

Definitely isn't technically a 10, since he is quite limited, his actual punches he does throw (jab, straight, left hook) are thrown pretty perfect from a technical standpoint

    But the complete inability to

    Throw uppercuts
    Fight on the inside
    Fight in the clinch

With his current style discount him being anything over an 8

As someone pointed out, Andre Ward...Floyd Mayweather, they are equally adept at fighting on the outside, mid-range, or inside, using any punch that is necessary, be it jabs, hooks, straights, uppercuts. Floyds pet punches are his right hand and left hook, used from the outside, against Cotto, this wasn't something that would have been too successfull given Cotto's earmuff guard which is pretty good at picking off/blocking those two punches, so he put the right hook and left uppercut to use, and beat him on the inside for the large part of the fight

With technical perfection naturally comes versatility

If you get inside of Wlads jab, you won't see a technically perfect uppercut, or infighting skills and working inside the clinch, he'll simply hold and wait to be separated

You better watch fights carefully before writing ...

Wlad finished Peter in the second fight with a uppercut, he throws a body punch and than uppercut against Thompson in the first fight, he throws some in the second.

like i have previously said, these fighters are far smaller, by being smaller men it requires them to be more technical - You are like others comparing A heavyweight to a WW or even a SMW. You have to compare him to other Heavyweights. In my opinion he lacks versatility not technique - for example if you get a fighter (hypothetical) that only fights outside and doesn't fight inside you can't say he has bad technique inside - because you haven't seen him on the inside. To prevent that situation to ever be a problem I put that deficit against his versatility not technique. What you have said with in that he fights limited I agree, but I don't feel it's that his technique should rating should be reduced but rather his versatility. I think I was wrong to put him at a 10, but I do believe he is atleast a 9

Wlad fans are just off in the head. See everytime Wlad lost they have a excuse as you see here. Haye is way smaller than Wlad. Haye hit Wlad with one good punch and Wlad was hurt. Wlad has a very weak chin. I would rate his chin a one. Name one time Wlad took a hard punch without going down or being hurt?? Even TOS put him down. The man can't take a punch. Steve Pannell put him down too.

Id say he is rock solid across the board, he has really crafted his style

i think his chin gets badly underrated, its not iron but its not a 4 or 5 of 10

he took Sam Peter's bombs and he took Hayes shots after ppl said he couldnt

He wasnt out cold in any of his fights in fact he got up from every knockdown ever scored on him

i think his biggest issue is stamina and at times confidence

he lost 2 fights from running out of gas while way ahead

and the other he got blitzkrieged and caught early and didnt recover it happens and has happened to plenty of good to great fighters

i dont think it was his chin that was his problem he has proven that he can take a punch

i dont know if his stamina has been fixed since nobody is testing him

this is coming from a Wlad fan

i think if an opponent were to get Wlad out of his comfort zone push him back and be physical while taking the punches and forcing Wlad to fight a fast pace busy fight he may wilt and his stamina may let him down

watch Peter 1, Peter has him on the retreat eats his best punch has him out of his comfort zone and Wlad gets tired goes down twice and looks bad

next round Peter exhausted from onslaught doesnt follow up next round Wlad survives

i wonder what would have happened if a not expended Peter came out next round

any way you can see the improvements when in Wlad Peter 2 he beats him with no struggle hurts him in the 1st and keeps him under control with no oh **** moments

Wlads improvements as a boxer are there he has mastered his skills but i wanna see him in with a guy who can truly make him on the defensive

when Haye hit Wlad he did stun him, but when he landed on the iron chin Chisora he KOed him. So why Klitschko has **** chin and Chisora iron chin lol

    Many reasons.

    1. Haye was punching with more intent vs Chisora
    2. Haye was punching up against Wlad - hence reducing power
    3. It was round 12 and Haye is Known to have bad stamina
    4. Haye landed a single punch on wlad, He landed many big punches on chisora
    5. Chisora was squared up and got hit coming foward, Wlad was going backwards

Wlad can reign for years yet. Imagine the pain haters are going to feel when he's on his 30th championship fight? Poor little carrots will be gutted.

Agreed. Imagine if Mike Tyson was 5 inches shorter. The likes of Adamek would be bullying him regularly nevermind the Kevin Mcbride's.
