That **** shouldn't complain about being dudded. He was fighting an Armenian in round one and was behind on points, he knocked him down with 1 second to go. The Armenian got back up and the clock resumed, the bell sounded but the ref didn't hear it, and then Terrell ran in and knocked him down again and the ref called it a stoppage... atsch
Don't fret ,fuss or fight Kaggsy mate still two wee Taffs left for you to support aye op.....:bbb ......:good
m8, these guys are HW< they arent super flyweights who punch with that much speed the judges cant press a farkn button in time. The Cuban was robbed, if he throws a three punch combo or four punch combo and lands 3 of those punches then he should get 3 points, not one. If the judges cant press a button in time for a HW fight they should be given the ass. In any event the cuban landed way more than 3 scoring punches in that last round, the judges were influenced by the home town crowd and the cuban was blatantly ripped off. They need to fck off the judges and have it scored via computer image software. Any punch that lands clean with the knuckle part of the glove is a point, dont matter if its thrown in a combo or not. Flurrys do count, to say they dont is just laughable.
Hooper fights at 11:15pm WST so that's 1:15am over East. If you have lunch around midnight then yes he's fighting around lunch time.
Should just be sensors from gloves to headgear, and body. That would see it even. Body shots rarely get counted either which sucks.
Mate i'm not saying the system is good, works or is fair Just how it is. Flurries don't get counted as much as they should which is a disadvantage to any fighter who lands in bunches. The crowd etc. were all factors as well I also believe Joshua wasn't fighting as well as he can and I think we'll see that in the next fight.
Hooper Lost To The Russian 11-19 http://www.london2012.com/boxing/event/men-light-heavy-81kg/match=bxm081404/index.html
Yeah Russian smashed him up on the inside with short, sharp and fast punches. I think Hooper was a bit exposed on the inside in this one. But regardless, he is a hell of a natural talent Hooper.
Hooper to turn pro straight away http://www.news.com.au/sport/london-olympics/russian-boxer-egor-mekhontcev-too-experienced-for-aussie-hope-damien-hooper/story-fndpu6dv-1226443084917
