    This punch ruined PAC.
(He hasn't been the same since)

^He couldn't pull the trigger after this monstrous blow!
    (Margarito's "Super" move)

I don't know if I'd say that sole punch did the trick, as Pacquiao looked like dynamite the rest of the way. But I would most definitely agree that the Margarito fight was the last time Pacquiao looked great. Margarito really put some punishment on him, even in defeat. Ever since that fight, he's looked more and more war-torn.

some of the worst HBO commentary in this fight

Margo stuns Manny to the body and they are discussing his hair style

could have been a fight changing moment if Margo got to him downstairs more

you think the announcers would discuss boxing more and maybe they could keep the viewers more interested

HBO did their best to discredit & burn Tony every way they could & it worked.
People till this day still hate on one of boxing's most exciting fighters in years.
They sacrificed Margarito's credibility to re-build Miguel Cotto & benefit from the numbers a rematch would make.

If Tony was truly guilty of "Bricks" then why put him on TV?
Why feature him twice on your PPV's?
Why do a 24/7 featuring him?

Margarito was getting zero credit from HBO in Cotto 2

im not saying he won but he won rounds more than he was credited too

im not a margo fan but i think his incident was really thrown out of porportion

Agreed, I was trolling a bit...
But you make a great point Both fighters took massive damage in that fight.
(Neither came out the same, Obviously Tony suffered the most)

Margarito didn't quit tho to prove a point to HBO's discrediting asses.
The man was willing to die for his credibility they destroyed.

For starters Cotto and De la Hoya were both massively weight drained and Oscar looked completely ****ed before the first bell even rang, Hatton had never really recovered from the Mayweather loss and cam in with all the wrong tactics trying to bully Manny because he was wrongly told he could because of Floyd Srs stubborn approach due to his biasty against Pacquaio, Shane and Clottey both have granite chins and had never been KOd in their careers, Margarito came in ring close to 20lbs heavier than Manny and realistically the fight should have been stoppend in the 11th, your views are flawed and not even coincidental

Pacquaio has gotten noticeably slower and less powerful as he moved up in weight...and he didn't even really get "big" He struggled to make those lower weights jumping from 112 to 122 and failing to make weight twice. He was 145 in the ring vs Marquez in 08. He was just an enormous drainer throughout his career.

No, He is fadding though, and facing different styles. JMM gave him hell the first 2 times, same as 3rd, Clottey hid, Margarito got a meat face and should have been stopped, Mosley was old and shot but still durable, Can understand that this + some fading can cause less KO's.
