might be Golota with his unpredictable antics

Tyson wasnt the same 92 on but he put the lights out on guys and his antics were intersting

Holyfield was always exciting and even in his boring fights he was trying

Bowe was in some great fights

Vitali at his best was very fun to watch

id say Bowe or Holyfield on pure excitement

    other mentions

    Maskaev KO or be KO'd

    Brewster had some real battles

Tua knocking guys heads off was fun to watch

The Last 20 Years? Tyson was locked up and got beaten by Douglas in 1990. Think about it. :think

    Golota is way up there.

Every single Golota fight during the 90's was brutally exciting.

Jim Lamprey was brutally exposed as the chicken **** coward that he was, when during the Golota riot he left
George Foreman , Larry Merchant, AND HIS OWN DAUGHTER among the mobs

and jet packed his ass all the way up to the top of the arena.

I commend you. That is some awesome choices. "T-Rex" (Corey with a Y)Sanders Ko'ed Oleg after taking a beating from Maskaev. Wladimir was a wrecking machine before the other Sanders(CORRIE) took him out. That fight changed Wlad's style forever, but most people here don't even know about '95 and '96 Wladimir.

Golota was the trailblazer for Eastern-Euro fighters. I watched the Bowe/Golota on HBO live. I thought to myself, "Bowe is gonna KO this guy pretty quick." Boy was I wrong, and I'm glad I was.

there have been many exciting heavys going unmentioned

i mean Travis Walker almost always in a good battle

Arreola loves to trade usually stops his opponents

hell a guy like Cliff Etienne was fun to watch too, his Brewster and botha fights were both good and he was KO'd quickly by Tyson and vs Valuev

But he was still the most EXCITING fighter in the last 20 years. whenever he fought it was an event everyone talked about.

That loss was still helluv exciting (just as the holyfield loss).

Win or lose, Tyson generated excitement and bad intentions. He was the last heavyweight that had those attributes as main.

    Ibeabuchi
    Tua
    Sanders
    Bowe
    Morrison

In that order. If the late 80s Tyson was 20 years ago, then he would have topped the list. But 20 years ago only encompasses the much less exciting 90s Tyson.
