    I guessing if they wanted too they would be able to box for GB or would the GB boxing team not accept them?

    They probably would accept them but I dont think its ever happened !

    I think they can but GB only compete as a team every 4 years and the rest it is England, Scotland and Wales, so if you are a top boxer in Northern Ireland you would probably be on the Irish squad already. Since NI only are a team in the Commonwealth games I think.

    It'll be quite scrappy I reckon, neither of em beats Zhou Shimming he's a league apart @ 49kg
