    Good post.

Running out with a perfect record has never been done it he past and none of the modern day perfect record . guys with the 0 , will get near to being the greatest.

When you fight the best -you lose at some point- also when you fight regular take on cjhallengers past your best, in your 40s etc etc

but it proves a lot of what makes you tick and faded faded champions like jOnes facing lacy or morales v maidana prove a lot after their hay day.

Please, that version of Holyfield would not get close to RJJ.

Rahman was slow enough for RJJ to outbox, same with Oquendo.

the only good thing about the words "glass jaw" and "Roy Jones" is..... when put side by side in the same sentence, it clearly reflects how little the person knows about BOXING who spewed it out and regurgitated the oldest, boring, worn old, common phrase even a 90 year old woman knows. "glass jaw".... WOW, how original and well thought out..... :-(

If Del Valle hit him any harder he may have stopped him. Roy was lucky that didn't happen 20 seconds into the round.

Read my first post in this thread, where I mentioned the Del Valle punch.

You just owned everyone that said Roy ALWAYS had a glass jaw with a single post... That was a hard shot, at 175, where he was a small fighter.... :good

James Toney hit him really hard too near the end of the 5th... Toney had one punch Ko power, Roy walked trough it and threw even more punches to steal the round after a meaningful punch that must have hurt... A fighter with atrue glass jaw could not have done that.. The announcers said they were impressed with Roy moving up in weight and taking Toney's stiff shots...

He was never iron chinned.. his chin is complete glass now and has been for years, but to say he was always glass jawed is imagination.. Evidence proves otherwise.

The punch was a solid punch but that's all it was you deluded nuthugger, the punch had no leverage on it which means no real power behind it.

Again I ask you deluded, delusional Roy Jones nuthuggers to show me a time in Roy's prime where he got hit with a punch full on muster on it where his opponent was able to **** back the punch throw and land full on prime Roy.......I'm still waiting, the best you deluded nuthuggers could find was a cuffing solid inside punch with no real power behind it.

And whats worse is that it mostly comes from people that have never laced up a pair .

Why you have to insult me i am not sure....

That was a very hard shot, by a game LHW.. sometimes those inside shots are worse, where you don't see them coming... Either way it totally snapped his head.. A true Glass jaw in his 4th weight moving up would have been knocked out... Hell, that was much harder than the shot G. Johnson hit him with...

Roy started at 154... He also took shots from Hopkins, Toney, Ruiz, and Tarver...

Did you even watch the first Tarver fight? He cocked back and punched Roy with all he had several times... Why should I have to post it?

No one can go from 154 to HW and have a glass jaw, sorry.... Even Roy got punched in the face from time to time...

His jaw is glass now and it has been for a while, no doubt... but it wasn't always glass... never iron, but average in his prime...
