After Wilder's devastating KO last night would you rate him higher than Price now?

Both similar in style and both captured bronze at the China Olympics and now their records are looking quite similar. I don't see much in it now cv wise and find it hard to rank one over the other.

    Notable wins for Wilder.
Manswell the come forward pressure style fighter who managed to once go the distance with former World champ Chagaev.

Owen Beck. Fought for the World title against Valuev. Beat Darnel Wilson. Lost a SD to Ray Austin.

    Notable wins for Price.
    Sam Sexton. Beat Rogan twice.
John Mcdermott. Gave Tyson Fury a tough fight and went the distance.

I have them both around equal due to neither achieving anything great, if I had to pick one Price is slightly ahead due to being commonwealth and british champion.

I did not expect his power to translate so easily to a higher Clevel guy like Manswell.

I would say Manswell and MacNuggett to be on equal level, and Wilder showed he could end it against anyone in early fashion last night.

I'm really starting to like Wilder now that he seems intent on fighting better LOC, even if it is on the softer side of the top 100.

I would like to see him fight JCG or another solid but aging veteran Blevel guy. Maybe Liakovich or Briggs next.:think

Price has fought better opposition and won a national belt, fought at least former UK level champs and even against a undefeated prospect like himself (Dallas). Wilder has fought absolutely nobody. Let's not get excited about Manswell, he took the fight on less than 2 weeks notice, got KO'd by Ustinov last time out. He was low risk, as usual.

To KO wasn't that devastating either...

cv-wise, Price is much better, Wilder has fought nobody but the ghost of Owen Beck and Manswell, though last night's KO was really nice for the eye

maybe they'll meet sometime in the post-Klitschko era, we'll see

When in doubt about a sport event outcome, always pick the black guy... Oh wait, this is heavyweight boxing, I pick Price.

Price definitely deserves to be ranked above Wilder now.

Sexton is a pretty solid journeyman level boxer. . . He's not bad at all, and much better than the guy WIlder fought last night. . .

Even old John McDermott is better than anybody Wilder has fought. . .

Potential wise, I still feel they're both about the same. . . UNTIL I see these guys fight a guy like Travis Walker type, it's hard to really gauge their potential.

Watch the movie "The Great White Hype," (1996 - with Samuel L Jackson, and Damon Wayans) and see how funny it is in context of boxing today.
