This would be the best thing he has done. Best trainer in the world..

Can you really believe that steward made the first contact though?

No way.. But in all fairness to Freddy Roach they improved him massively, but Khan likes getting macho and he just gets battered every time he does it.. I think a new trainer would settle him and get things back on track..

Unless Khan develops a brain overnight, Steward can't do much for him.

I don't think he is the best trainer, like so many trainers, even the British ones, he gets fighters that are already good.! He couldn't train someone from grassroots I would wager. He has had champions but also loads of guys who didn't make it big, didn't exactly help Naz did he.

If Khan listens yeah he will be better but less exciting, jab, jab, jab, hold, jab, jab, jab hold, right hand....no upercuts, left hooks.

    Seriously?

He trained many excellent fighters and rebuilt a couple: Lewis, Wlad and Cotto being recent examples. Never mind that coached Tommy Hearns from the start. Spectacularly ignorant post.

That's what Wlad chooses to do, not what Steward asks him to. Wlad has a devastating left hook. Lewis often used the hook and the right uppercut. Go watch more Steward trained fighters and you'll see most have solid fundamentals and are relatively versatile.

Exactly. Manny has a reputation of having fighters just jab but there's a lot more to a Manny fighter than that. Hasn't had the most talented bunch in a while though.

The big thing if Khan was to go with Steward I'd say is the foot work. I don't think it will sink in with Khan though he seems to me one of those fighters who might do it all in training but come fight night he'll go back to his more familiar style.

You should really learn what is meant by grassroots mate, Hearns was already good when he went with him. Spectacularly ignorant
