Marvin Hagler appeared a bit looney at times. The fact he legally changed his name to 'Marvelous' because he didn't feel people respect him enough is pretty good proof. I'll never forget him almost losing it in an interview a few years ago when the guy kept calling him 'Marvin' and Hagler kept correcting him that it was 'Marvelous' not 'Marvin.'

Clifford Etienne was a bit nuts, but whether that was due to crack or being insane is debatable....I think he was put away for car jacking for something like a 100 years! Also Leon Spinks was a bit mad..."Neon" Leon....

Johnny Tapia was a wild child as well!

    Danny 'Danny Mac' McAlinden

    That Irishman was 'crazy'.

He wanted to fight Muhammad Ali and Rudy Ali, and the whole 'Ali Enourage'
    at the same time.

    Danny Mac, said it best.

"I kicked Rudy Clay's ass in New York, now I'll take on that 'chicked ****' older
brother of his they call 'The Greatest'. I'll never lose to a Clay, never'.

Ali appeared unbalanced more often than not.

How many men do you know who call themselves the Greatest and go on about how pretty they are?

If you did know someone like that, would you think they are all there?

Depends, this hypothetical person we know - are they a boxing world heavyweight champion promoting themselves in an interview? Or are they just some random guy?

Anyway for the thread, dunno about outside the ring really - well ike and the guy who axed kellermans brother - but inside the ring golota and mccall had their full on loony bin moments.
