no his only notable wins were against a shot roy jones. his wins against glen johnson are overrated becuz while johnson was a good fighter he was far from elite. when he fought an all-time great who was a master boxer he got absolutely destroyed.
I think so... I think Roy was past his best in their second fight, not all the way shot yet.. I would call him shot after the KO, he never recovered... The way he went after the best fighter in the world, showed no respect, didn't wait for him to lose or even look bad in a fight... Very impressive.. Plus he had some decent wins other than RJJ... HOF worthy IMO...
He had an EXCELLENT amatuer career. Re-search it in detail, you'll see that he was always going to be hell for Roy Jones Junior. Yes, he gets in.
lol roy is all of the sudden " completely shot " when tarver checks his chin. Hilarious..... They are like the same age.
The original Magic Man Marlon Starling isn't even in, wait till he gets in before the other Magic Mans get in
Yo wtf I STRONGLY disagree with y'all, yes YES he is a HOFer and he WILL get in. Y'all are straight up bonkers
Antonio Tarver's only claim to fame was beating a shot Roy Jones jr. If Roy Jones jr had fought him while they were both in their primes, people would have claimed Tarver was just another bum.
