I think it would be a 50/50 bloodbath. Could go either way.

    What do you think?

I think Hatton would make it look ugly, as he does with all his fights. Hatton on points.

    Hatton in 5 rounds.

And to be honest I don't think it would be close.

Bloody hell this thread seems to surface roughly every week or 2.

Hatton too fast, footwork and inside fighting too good brakes Gatti down tko10.

Mickey Ward gave Gatti hell and made it possible due to bodyshots.

I don't see any reason Hatton who is a brutal bodypuncher and physically strong at 140 couldn't have done so.

Hatton is to big, to strong and to quick on his feet for Gatti.

In 130lb fantasy fights Gatti warrants consideration, but above there he gets knocked out by the better fighters.

Gatti's is probably my second favourite fighter of all time. And normally I'd favour the boxer puncher in the "puncher vs pressure fighter" styles match-up but I hate to say it Hatton was much much more skilled then Gatti and it probably won't have been close. Post floyd hatton Gatti would have a chance of getting the flash KO against but prime for prime.....no chance.

Hatton ****s him up, he was a higher level of fighter and would punish Gatti badly to the body.

Prime Hatton would have rocked his world at 140.

And the reasoning would be Shot and not monster Hatton did last 10 with May and gave all hell for Floyd like 1 minute while Gatti quit on his stool at six.

This is an unfair and pointless thread.
Why don't we do Andre Ward v Johnny Tapia next?
(Still hurtin' bad for ya Champ:bowdown:respect)
