    Brandon Rios vs Mike Alvarado
    Nonito Donaire vs TBA (Possibly Nishioka!)

    If Arum does indeed get Nishioka for Donaire then that's an awesome card. Rios/Alvarado will be a war, two come-forward guys. Alvarado is probably the harder puncher at 140, physically bigger as well but Rios will relish taking on someone who comes straight at him.

    Donaire's been disappointing recently. After the Sydorenko and Montiel fights we were all thinking wow, this kids special. But his recent showings haven't lived up to those high standards. Nishioka's clearly a level above Mathebula and a super-bantam Narvaez so Donaire will have to be on top form.

    Donaire's losing my interest more and more, a fantastic fighter who i have a lot of time for but i have him on facebook and the amount of rubbish he spews about not fighting likes of Rigo is shocking.

    It's either Nisioka or Arce IMO, I think he wants Arce more cos he's posted bits and pieces about him on FB as if to try build it up. We all know it would be a one sided win for him.

    Don't get me wrong he's beating world class fighters but Nonito needs to fight the best more often i mean it wasn't to long ago we was at same stage with him. It was the Montiel fight that made us think finally this kids going to have big fights. Prior to that we was just harping back to his win over Vic.

    :good I'm glad your of the same thoughts JK, I really don't rate Garcia's work with Nonito. He's looking more and more flat footed and power crazy as well i really worry for him in a hard fight with Garcia in corner. Seems like Nonito is basically thinking for himself on all levels while Garcia acts like a fanboy..

    I have a sneaky suspicion it will be neither Arce or Nishioka. Instead step forward Christian Mijares.

    He is a good name and can be entertaining to watch who has a few clear vulnerability, which Donaire will take advantage of.

    Before Mathebula the initial date and fight was to be Donaire vs Mijares but HBO rejected it. I don't think they will change there stance on that fight again in space of months but we'll have to wait and see.
