Deontay Wilder should fight Shane Cameron next!

Stiverne is world ranked and Wilder is just starting to make noise. Plus,Arreola is fighting Stiverne next.

Seriously. When. I've been waiting to see if Arreola was going to venture back into the Blevel since his comeback after Adamek.

This would be a great fight.

As for Wilder's next.....several ppl have listed good fights that would suit both Wilder and the opponent as far as reaching the contender status.

Rodriguez. Tough fight for both, but I think Rodriguez has him for lunch. KO1.

Scott. Malik is a slick fighter, and while he's certainly got the edge on speed and defense, I think Wilder would land often enough and find a way to put a few bombs together and put Malik on the backfoot en route to a late TKO loss or a decision loss.

Donnel Holmes. Guy was looking real good a few yrs back, but dropped out of the game. Holmes is older and has faced solid opposition, but has lost on the Blevel. Would like to see if he would consider this one, and if nothing else, he could make decent bank for this fight.

Darrel Madison. Maddys got some power and a solid beard. Unlike Manswell, Maddy would come to win this one. He's had some contractual problems b/c he didnt want to fight cans for DK, but seems he's been released from the DK stranglehold, and is looking to come back vs higher LOC. Would be a perfect fight for both. My pick would be Wilder by mid rounds KO.

Tony Grano or Frankie Lawrence. Both guys are rated higher than they should be, but both would be big wins for the BB. Wilder would see and open up the defensive liabilities in both and stop either of them early.

You raise a good point. But something tells me that Wilders' chin is even more shaky. There's a reason he's fighting all these stiffs this far into his career.

 

Cameron isnt even close to having a glass chin, he got smashed by a particularly motivated Tua and he was the right height for Tua where he could set his legs instead of lunging

His defence isnt the greatest and hes been in with plenty of heavy handed journeymen and took their best, he got stopped on cuts vs Ahunanya and been fine since due to eye ridge surgery

 

I want to see some of these prospects fight each other to see who is the real deal and who is all hype.

Wilder, Perez, Stiverne, Mitchell, Fury, Price, etc. Fight each other and stop waiting in line for your Klitschko paydays.

at least he seems to be gaining some size , i noticed he was 228 heaviest he has ever been .

 

And there's a reason that Wilder's team has gone to great lengths to keep the Harold Sconiers fight off Youtube and any other website.
