Dayum! Donaire's 3rd fight at 122 and he fights Nishioka and Donaire doesn't have 500

    amateurish fights like the Cube.

    Good looking card.

    Rios-Alvarado may give us a Castillo/Corrales-type fight.

Let's stop trashing Rigo guys, he impressively beat Teon Kennedy in a star making performance in his last fight!

You know how lazy those cubans are. They'll let everyone work and then he'll step up after Donaire wins..

Rigo won't risk his 0 against Mares..

I completely agree with this, most of the forum picks rigo to beat donaire base on what exactly? The skills he showed against who? Rigo hasn't fought anyone of note yet, he needs to fight someone first that could test him before heading straight to donaire

Boxrec has it at the Home Depot Center in Carson. Great venue and much easier for me to get to than Staples Center. I plan on going.

He only defected in 2009.How many fights should he have had in that time?

Fair play to Donaire.High time a real fan's fight happened here.I haven't been slow to say my 2 cents worth on him but this is one of two fights that I really want to see him take.
    Fair's fair at the fairground.

Super fight Indeed, when Donaire faced Montiel that was called a super fight, this is definitely another.

Donaire needs some praise dude has taken on his share of bums but Darchinyan, Montiel, then Nishioka that's what a real champ is made of.

Mares was a teen vs a full grown man :hey and he still made it competitive against the Glass Jawed Cuban.

Now Mares is a more accomplished pro, and it won't be going 3 rounds. 12 rounds of Body work by Mares and combos to much heart, a good chin, to Mexican. Mares would pummel The Cuban this ain't the AM's and Mares ain't no teen.
